It has been narrated by Hazrat Maz (رضی اللہ عنہ  ), that the Prophet Mohammad (ﷺ) said; the one who swallows his anger, even though he is in power to act upon his anger. (Regardless of his anger on that person, does not give any punishment to that person ) Allah almighty will call him on Day of Judgment in front of all Creations and will give him the right to choose any of the Hoor from the Hoors of Jannah, for himself.

Hazrat Anas bin Malik رضی اللہ عنہ  has narrated that prophet Muhammad ﷺ  said; the one who holds his tongue,  Allah Almighty hides his short-comings. The one who stops controls his anger and swallows it, Allah Almighty on Day of Judgment, will stop his punishment for him. And the one who is ashamed of and asks ask Allah almighty for forgiveness, Allah almighty accepts it.
